Race 1
The first race at Hoosier is likely going to the #2 Girly cocktail. The one that is getting overlooked on the morning line in my opinion is #4 Alaska who is getting post relief and that should help a lot. Had won from post 7 in previous start at Hoosier park. #3 Man on Fire is likely going to the front runner or trotting in this case but I foresee others chasing him down in the stretch. The #11 Er Skywalker is also likely going to put in a nice effort but will need to work a trip from the second tier. I think others are a little faster with their mile times which is why I didn’t make Alaska my top selection however with the post relief and having early speed. I’d only imagine Walter Hayners Jr who is also the trainer will have this one forwardly placed.

Race 2
With a couple shippers the morning line favorite is #7 Proof. Proof is coming to Hoosier from the Meadows who won in upset fashion at 16-1. The opening fractions of that race were not that fast but Proof did finish the mile in 1:51 flat after going up the lightening lane to get the victory. I’d expect the opening fractions at Hoosier to be 26 and change as opposed to the 27 and change that Proof has been racing against. #1 Pure Rock held on for the win in that one’s last start at Hoosier but did seem to be tiring in deep stretch as others were closing in on him. One of those horses was The Great I am who gets post 3 tonight who had post 5 in that race. Instead of Trace Tetrick in the bike #3 The Great I am will get Tim Tetrick tonight. Pure Rock went to the front from post 6 last time and getting post #1 tonight John De long should be looking again to take the early lead. With post 1 should that easy or if any others try to take over the lead will get a pocket trip. Trace Tetrick will drive the #5 Always A Vavoom who finished 5th last time out. In that race I’m A Real Lady’s Man got the victory. Always A Vavoom will get post relief tonight at least a little from last start which he had post 7. The Post relief should be of help as Trace is likely to find a nice spot to work some type of first over or second over trip barring he doesn’t get boxed in with the outer flow. I’m a Real Lady’s Man got post 8 which will be of no help. He won from post 3 in his last start but the post will hurt tonight. Either this one leaves early for position or stays back but will have to work through traffic or around in the stretch.
Top Selection #3 The Great I Am. I will say if the #7 wins though I won’t be shocked. does have the most earnings of all the horses entered.

I don’t have much to say about race 3 other than that #4 Regal Hope has been up against Coal Hanover who has been racing well of late and because of that company I’ll give #4 Regal Hope the nod in the 3rd.

Race 4
The #2 It’s Time For Fun should be going to the lead early and likely won’t look back. This one had won from post 2 last time out while being hindered from outside posts in previous starts. I was impressed with how game this one was in their last race winning by open lengths. The #3 Letme fly low is getting post relief from post 6 last time out after leaving early. This should be of big benefit tonight and has been racing well of late. The #4 Voom Or Bang won last time out but with the other two I mentioned Voom Or Bang will have to contend with them as they got better posts for tonight.

Race 5
With a lot of Invaders from other tracks it’s hard to say who will go over the Hoosier track the best. Also with young horses it’s also hard to say who will behave and stay on stride. The #3 Warrawee Ubeaut is likely going to try for the early lead. As long as this one behaves should get it easy but will need to stay on stride as in her last start she made a break. The #7 Zero Tolerance is a nice filly but the post will hurt tonight as this one has been getting good post draws of late. The #4 She’s AllRight won impressively last time out at the Meadows after making a first over trip and never looked back. The #1 Louphoria is one to consider possibly for exotics and at a price. this one should be off the pace as others seem to have more gate speed but will be closing late barring any breaking violations.
Top Selection #3 Warrawee Ubeaut however with the break last time that’s something to watch as they warm up. Likely is the best filly of the field though.
Value Selection #1 Louphoria who will be big odds 20-1 on the morning line. Then also #4 She’s Allright who will have decent odds but not likely to be huge.
Selections 3-4-7-1 (confidence for this race very low with selections. never know with 2 year old’s.
Race 6
The six race features all the ones that couldn’t beat Always Ya Prince. I’d say pass on this race as I have no idea who will win or what trips will be had by the horses in the race. I will give the few horses just based on the company they’ve kept I think will perform well. The #1 I’vegotagirlcrush who also gets David Miller in the bike tonight which that alone is a reason to consider. The #6 On Duty is coming off two nice wins but both from much more inside posts. This one has been coming into it’s own lately and may put on another huge mile tonight or may not with others putting on a huge mile. Then On Duty could put on a huge mile but still not get the win because others do the same. Will need to find a spot and then racing room late. I don’t foresee Brett Miller taking this one to the lead or leaving hard early. (Yes I could be wrong) Trace Tetrick who had been driving On Duty is now on the #3 Brigadierbronksi A which is interesting to me. Though could have been the inside post or the other connections just wanted Brett I’m not exactly sure. Then there is #5 Nascar Seelster who won from post 5 last time out. This one has been consistent lately though probably not as fast as some of the others in this race. I’d suspect still a good play for exotics on your tickets. The #2 K Ryan BlueChip finished third to Seeing Eye Single three back who I believe won a race on the little brown jug card the other day so that’s a treat. With Tim Tetrick in the sulky can’t go wrong with a world class driver. One more to mention is the #6 Rockin Speed who finished 2nd to On Duty in his last race.

Race 7
While the #8 Woodside Charm is clearly the best in the race post 8 hurts especially with 2 year old trotters. The #2 Measuredperfection has been consistent of late and finally beat GrandSwan last time out by a head. This one gets a good post tonight and should race well once again hopefully at a price. The #4 Starita gets David Miller who has drove this filly in the past at the Meadowlands. She has been consistent as of late as well winning 3 of her last 5, with a two 4th place finishes.

Race 8
The clear two stand outs in this race are #4 Always Ya Prince and #6 Jimmy Freight. Neither of these two will be at good betting odds. it’s a toss up as to who you go with as either one could win tonight. My personal bias I want Always Ya Prince to win. but I can understand the possible class edge Jimmy freight has with the company he’s been keeping. The one horse in this race who seemed to get way overlooked or is 20-1 on the morning line simply because of how short the first two I mentioned is #3 General Dolan. Should there be a hot pace up front I could see General Dolan pulling off the upset and at a fairly nice price should he stay true to his morning line. General Dolan gets in my opinion a upgrade in driver in Yannick Gingras which is another reason this one shouldn’t be 20-1 on the morning line. Just my opinion though.

# 10 Manchego should be easy winner here though from the second tier, nothing will be easy. This one is by far better than the rest of the field. There is one that is getting post relief tonight after closing very well last time out. That is the #3 Meadow Brook Grace. This one had post 8 last time out but managed to finish third. Trace will be back in the bike and if any driver knows how to win at Hoosier Park it’s Trace Tetrick. The #2 Custom Cantab was the winner of that race. She gets another inside post and will likely have another good night as I suspect Peter Wrenn will try to leave early with this 3 year old trotting filly once again. If Peter isn’t able to secure the lead then likely a pocket sitting trip.

Race 10
This will be an interesting one. The #4 Sand Sterling is coming off three straight wins. Looking to make this the 4th in a row. The #2 Rocks And Things gets post relief after hanging on to third from post 7. This one left early then was over taken by American Chrome who gets post #9 tonight. Which will be tough for American Chrome to get the lead from post 9 and Trace will have to take that one back early and win from off the pace should he win again tonight. #3 Imageofarocker is always consistent, whether the gambler or the owner/trainer consistency is something we all like to see. The #5 Rockin Machine almost got up in time to beat American Chrome last time out but had to settle for second. This one should be game tonight. However is looking for win number 1 from 20 starts this year. Should get another pace to close into in deep stretch tonight.

Race 11
The heavyweight bout Round 3 with Mcwicked and Lazarus N. These two likely finish 1-2 and at short prices. the value horse potentially is the #1 Split The House. Also just a personal favorite of mine All Bet’s Off. Mcwicked looked really impressive in the Canadian Pacing Derby. Lazarus N wasn’t 100% that night but should be tonight. I’d like to see Mcwicked win again but it’s a toss up. who do you like?
Race 12
I have no idea but I do like Crazy Wow as that one is coming off a nice win up north at Woodbine. Personal favorites though are the mare Hannelore Hanover and the gelding Homicide Hunter.
I’ll make my top selection #3 Crazy Wow but this race really is a toss up.
3-4-8-9? (Those probably all the likely winners and some combination of exotics.)
Race 13
The #3 Maddie’s Jet Lady had a tough trip to overcome, more so the post last time out. This one was able to manage a 4th place finish closing into some wicked opening fractions. I would imagine post relief tonight is huge for this one. I don’t see them going the opening quarter in another 25 and change this time though. Especially since the filly Bringhomethemail is starting from post 9 tonight. The #2 Satisfashion won from post 7 in that race and also gets post relief tonight. This filly didn’t seem to need it but will get it, and will make her a huge threat. She won by 4 lengths in her last start and should she win again tonight it may only be a question of by how much.

Sort of a toss up but also seems cut and dry. Three horses with a shot to win the #1 Aztec Hanover. #2 Vintage Grand and the #6 Toni’s Affection. The value horse may be the #4 Sumthintallnstrong who gets post relief from last start in which Toni’s Affection won. Started from post 7 that race but gets a much better post tonight. Also after this 14 race card all the Hoosier Park staff will likely need Sumthintallnstrong just not before they drive home.
